This Privacy Policy describes how SeiMatik Technologies LLC (“SeiMatik,” “we,” “our”) handles personal information in connection with its pre-launch website, interest and waitlist forms, email communications, optional questionnaires, and invitations to preliminary research
It does not govern a released application, paid subscription, live cooking service, or connected cooking device; those offerings will have updated or additional notices before launch. Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide may include name, email address, waitlist preferences, optional cooking interests and questionnaire responses, research-contact preferences, referrals if offered, and communications or feedback. Do not submit medical records, precise location, payment information, or sensitive information through general waitlist fields.
When enabled on the live site, our hosting and technical providers may receive IP address, browser/device details, referral and campaign parameters, approximate IP-derived location, page interactions, and security logs. Cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, and replay tools must be described only if actually deployed; see Section 6.
3. Purposes
We use information to administer the waitlist; respond to requests; send requested operational notices; invite willing individuals to optional research; evaluate prospective users’ interests; improve the website and pre-launch planning; measure campaigns where implemented; maintain security; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. We may use aggregated or properly de-identified insights for planning.
4. Communications and choices
Joining a waitlist does not automatically enroll you in optional promotional email. We will honor marketing preferences and provide an unsubscribe mechanism in commercial messages. Operational messages concerning a requested signup or participation may continue where appropriate.
Research outreach and future-hardware interest are separate optional preferences; expressing interest is not a preorder.
5. Disclosures
We may share information with providers acting on our behalf for hosting, database storage, email delivery, security, analytics if enabled, and professional advice, subject to appropriate safeguards and contracts.
We may disclose information in a lawful corporate transaction or as legally required, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. We do not claim that a particular named vendor receives visitor data unless verified.
6. Cookies and tracking
We may use limited cookies and similar technologies where necessary to support website functionality, enhance security, and improve user experience. Users may manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, although disabling certain technologies may affect website functionality.
